Hello All,
I created a Twitter handle for IV @ImigrationVoice to lock down on twitter handle. Hopefully, I can contact some core member, and they can own this account going forward.

Anoop - dont worry about it and ask your company to reapply with a stronger educational valuation. Everything depends on the educational valuation report submitted along with the application.
Request for a stronger educational evaluation and request them to reapply.

My visa petition went to RFE first and when I enquired my employer they said that the consulate asked for education evaluation report and they have send it, but they didnt show me what they have send and unfortunately this years quota seem to be over, I have to wait for some more time :-(

Hi ,
my experience with O visa is that paperwork, presentation, previous track record of the lawyer with USCIS is critical
so in this case, absorbing the 5000 cost difference may be a good idea
Of course you can always ask your employer if they are willing to take that hit but as you know you have a 50 % chance there at the best
So decision is yours

Yes, you have to have expereince as of PD. As for the Risk - its all yours to take.

Some more information on this....I just spoke to another CSR @ NSC and asked her about Extended review....she mentioned that it is a normal process and that they have various agencies involved and that they r waiting for response ...did'nt mention what the agencies are or what is it that they r waiting on....also I asked her if I should take and INFOPASS appointment to find out more....she said that would'nt be of any help cause they will also not be willing to tell me more.....
She said wait for about 90 days and if you still don't here from us ..give us a call and we can then take it from there....
I guess I am going to stop worrying and expecting any results soon...lets just wait and see....

I know people work for county on EAD, but can one be employed by the US government on EAD?
I work for State government on EAD. My agency's HR didnot/does not have any knowledge, had to involve local Immigration lawyers and State immigration lawyers to educate them. I have to be forthcoming and provide/sign new I-9's whenever my EAD is renewed.

Why should USCIS send two notices? To answer your question..NO..they will send you one date and location for FP! Also you have to do your FP every 15 months or so..if your case isnt approved by then!

My case was filed at NSC on august 3rd...transferred to VSC and the 485 was transferred to TSC evn though my 140 is fro NSC...donno the logic behind it though

Lost I20.

My 140 was approved few months back. My lawyer specifed consular processing without my knowledge.
How do i change it to AOS?. I heard that when my PD is current NVC will sent forms. Do I need to specify AOS in that form?. Who will get those forms?. Attorney or applicant.
