You will not have problem because of H 1 B withdrawal. For that matter, even if they revoke I-140 you will not have any problem.
But if your case is getting processed, it is possible that you get a REF asking you to provide the employment verification letter. If you can provide a valid employment verification letter at that time then you should be fine. In any case the only issue is if USCIS finds that you are out of Job for a longer period of time then you might run into issues. So, try to get the Job as soon as possible.

My termination date is Sept 15th.

I have the same question. What is the process of renewing once its already expired? Should a new application be submit? Can we do it on our own without going through a lawyer?

I did it myself without a problem. It's the same I-765 form, you just mail a filled-out form, a copy of your existing EAD (front and back), copy of I-485 receipt, 2 photos and a check.

If the employer is the same and working remotely is an option, then why move from H1B to EAD. Why not keep the current status (full time) and work remote?

Hi,
I am currently working on a fulltime H1B and my GC process is going on with second stage (I140) in progress. Now my old employer wants me to work parttime for them which I agreed upon but this is a possibility only if I have a parttime H1B applied w.r.t old employer which I am thinking to apply for it and work parttime. But my question here is does this effect my GC processing? If it is what are the effects? Please reply me back. Thanks a lot.

Tecnically you dont have any visa number available now.since you are transfering your priority date to eb2.until they make decission on your I-140 they will not process your 485.This is my opinion only.Talk to good lawyer take the second opnion onthis before you are out of time.never know what april 08 bulletin has in store for eb3.

My Father is applying for Citizenship in Nov 10. If he becomes Citizen then can I file I485 under F3(married sons and daughters of citizen parents). Category and port priority date of May 03 from my employment base I-485 to I-485 under F3?

I know people work for county on EAD, but can one be employed by the US government on EAD?
